aubrey.
I attended California Baptist University where I became proficient with professional equipment and confident in my creative abilities. Southern California acted as an amazing, photogenic model for me to learn and refine my craft. Even though it was everything I wanted, it wasn’t home. It will always hold a special place in my heart and be the setting of some of the really important chapters of my story. Home to me is Kansas City. It is snowy winters and humid summers, even if my hair doesn’t agree.
With that being said, home is always there. So I love to still travel the world and experience the fruits of different cities and cultures, and photography gives me a great excuse to do so. Wherever you are I would love to come to you, but just let me know of the best places to eat!
Seriously, I feel honored to get to hang out with you on YOUR wedding day. I probably feel close to my clients because I get to experience one of the best days of their lives right alongside them. I might even join in on a dance or two at the reception. HAHA joking, kinda.
A wedding day is a beautiful thing. It makes my job easy because the beauty is right in front of me.
I believe photos should not just be seen, but felt. I don’t want to just take portraits, but create paintings. As unique and personal— with brush strokes of your own story.

I love this opportunity to brag on him because he would never do so himself. He graduated from Columbia College Hollywood as the valedictorian of his class. He has won countless awards for his work, but lost to me his senior year of high school which I still haven’t let down.
What makes Justin special isn’t what he has learned, but the instincts he possess that can’t be taught. His videos don’t just record what happens, they recreate it. The feelings. The emotions. Creating each video with the enthusiasm as if it were his first, and the careful precision as if it were his last. I can promise you will thoroughly enjoy watching what he makes for you because I can promise you he will enjoy doing it.
our story
I was sixteen and I was going to film a music video for my church. It was a big production so I needed someone else to help me. Hours before the shoot, my friend informed me she could no longer make it. As the shoot grew nearer and nearer, I got more and more desperate. I just started asking everyone in my video class if they were free that afternoon, even the people I didn’t know very well. Out of everyone I asked, only one said yes. That person being Justin.
In one day he turned from a near stranger to my best friend and he has held that title ever since. We were friends for three years after that before we kissed and it was well worth the wait even though I wouldn’t want to wait that long again. Our relationship has always been built on our faith, our friendship and our shared love of Chipotle.
I am thankful we still get to do what we love and even more thankful we get to do it together.
